1901	Started business in Osaka a cotton trader ‘Shimada Shoten’
1936	Reorganized as ‘Shimada Shoten Co.,Ltd’
1944	Changed trade name to ‘Shimada Business Co.,Ltd’
1951	Changed trade name to ‘Yamaichi Cotton production Co.,Ltd.’
1963	Established synthetic fiber department.
1964	Established synthetic resin department. Established Factory in Hofu.
1973	Changed trade name in ‘Yamaichi Co.,Ltd.’
1987	Completion of gas central factory in Shiga.
1989	Established factory and office of Technology development in Hofu.
1992	Established head office and head department of technology.
1995	Established ‘Cormax Co.,Ltd.’ as the manufacturer of pillows. Established Hong Kong Yamaichi Co.,Ltd.
2000	Established Taiwan Yamaichi Co.,Ltd. Established Yamaichi Electronic plastics (Wuxi). Opened office in Shanghai.
